Power Plant Dust Collection

The trend for power plant dust collection is to rearranges ESP into filter bag houses. ESP to capture large amount of dust through electrode field and filter bags to reach the exhaust standard.

Target Equipment:

Furnace of power plant: High temperature dust from the electric furnace are purified by a series denitrition/ dust collection and desulfurization processes。
Incinerator boiler: Garbage incinerator generates a combination of incomplete combustion,acid gas, dust, heavy metal pollutant,dioxin to go through treatment of lime slurry neturalization、active carbon spray followed by bag house.

Dust feature:

High temperature、large vollume including SOx,NOx, acid gas etc

73% of the dust are breathable dust smaller than 5μm. The dust is fugutive, the smaller the partical is , the long it lingers in the air.

 

ESP+BAG HOUSE REARRANGEMENT

Rebuilt from ESP. The first half iremains ESP to catch most dust and protect filter bags behind

Choose wet or dry dust collection according to the concentration and moisture at the inlet.

Bag house in the later half reaches higher filteration efficiency

Used as secondary dust collector to filter our smaller particles.

Particles charged with electron are easier to peel off the filter surface

  • ELECTRIC PRICIPITATOR

    High requirement for insulation to prevent condensation. Performance is greatly affected by the specific resistance of the dust.

  • Filter selection

    The selection of filters differs from each situation. Materials with anti acid/alkali, anti moisture features such as PPS/P84/ high temperature glass fiber are frequently used.
